Future Talent Arabia on behalf of one of our renowned client is looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor with a background in Infrastructure, Civils, Enabling, Stabilisation and Earthworks. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of NEC contracts and will be responsible for managing project costs, building and maintaining client relationships and supporting business development efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, monitor, and control project budgets.
- Conduct cost analysis and performance reporting.
- Ensure accurate and timely cost reporting and forecasting.
- Manage project variations and claims.
Contract Administration:
- Administer NEC contracts, ensuring compliance with terms and conditions.
- Prepare and evaluate tenders and contracts.
- Handle contract disputes and claims resolution.
- Ensure timely submission and agreement of final accounts.
Client Relations:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients on commercial matters.
- Conduct regular client meetings and site visits.
- Provide exceptional customer service and address client concerns promptly.
Business Development:
- Identify and generate new business opportunities.
- Assist in the preparation of bids and proposals.
- Support marketing and promotional activities.
- Convert prospects into projects through effective negotiation and relationship management.
Project Support:
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure project success.
- Provide commercial advice and support to the project team.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Maintain accurate project documentation and records.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in Civils, Enabling, Stabilisation, and Earthworks projects.
- Extensive knowledge of NEC contracts and their administration.
- Strong financial and commercial acumen.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain client relationships.
- Proficiency in relevant software and tools (e.g., MS Office, project management software).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
