Quality Engineer

What we do expect is our Quality Engineers to be inquisitive, challenge and take initiative. We're looking for people who have taken the time to invest in building a well-rounded skillset so they can proudly wear the hat of a 'Full-Stack' Tester. You’ll have an appreciation for the entire testing lifecycle from: manual testing, automation, exploratory testing, functional and non-functional testing. Our projects and clients are diverse, so whilst depth and specialism in key areas is essential, we look for people who have a hunger to develop and expand their skillset.

Although this role initially focuses on manual testing, at #Team2i we're on a Quality journey. We offer fantastic opportunities to leverage and expand your "full stack" skills, especially in automation.

What you’ll be doing...

• As a lover of both manual & automated testing at the API and UI levels having had practical experience of both.
• Reviewing and proposing changes to requirements to ensure they are testable.
• Assisting in the creation and management of test plans.
• Creation and reviewing of test cases.
• Assist with test data creation and other test cycle set-up activities
• Testing implementation within Test Driven Development and Behaviour Driven Development processes.
• Understanding and experience of Agile, DevOps and continuous testing approaches and principles.
• Understanding of the automation pyramid and ability to identify potential automation opportunities.
• Promoting testing best practice and continuous improvement.
