Quality Engineer

 

Description:

The post holder will work with the Quality & Operations teams to aid development of processes, test procedures and Quality systems that ensure the products and processes satisfy client expectations. They will monitor performance and identify improvements to be made to processes and products for the Business and Customers.

The Quality Engineer role also includes the activity of providing, through an audit process, the evidence needed to establish that all activities are being conducted in accordance with the applicable requirements, standards and procedures.

Responsibilities
 

  • Oversees and assesses existing processes and workflows and ensure they comply with Customer and safety regulations
  • Evaluate processes to identify inefficiencies and make recommendations for improvements to quality, productivity, safety, and cost.
  • Actively participate in the design and implementation of any required new processes
  • Review specifications, and processes
  • Document Control
  • Internal Auditing
     

Continuous Improvement
 

  • Monitoring and analysing process & quality performance
  • Track metrics and work with process stakeholders to discover areas for improvement
  • Pilot improvements and gather data on their benefits
  • Provide thorough instructions for successful implementation of process changes
  • Monitor changes and their related benefits
  • Investigate and troubleshooting product or production issues
  • Develop corrective actions, solutions, and improvements tracking
