As our Quality Assurance Technician, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our luxury products are top-notch and safe, while keeping things fresh and exciting. You'll be the proactive guardian of our standards, always on the lookout for ways to improve and innovate.
As a Quality Assurance Technician, you'll:
- Maintain quality standards in line with BRC Global standards
- Conduct traceability exercises and assist in complaint investigations
- Ensure accurate QA and operations paperwork
- Perform CCP verification checks and complete QA tasks efficiently
- Resolve non-conformances promptly
- Support operations staff in producing quality, safe food
- Conduct micro sampling and log out-of-spec results
- Assist with internal audits, GMP audits, and equipment calibration
- Support continuous improvement initiatives
- Develop strong interdepartmental relationships and assist with external audits
- Gather and analyse technical KPI data
To Thrive in This Role, You'll Need:
- Extensive Food Quality Experience within a similar role is a must, ideally in high care
- Knowledge of Heat Processing
- Understanding of BRC global standards
- An understanding of Recalling Products when required and the additional tasks involved
- Critical Control Point experience is desirable but not essential
- Personable approach
- IT savvy
