Quality Assurance Engineer

Copello has partnered with a leading defence organisation to recruit a Quality Assurance Engineer (Software) based in Bristol. This role provides an excellent opportunity to advance your quality assurance skills within a broader Product Assurance team.

As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will engage in a variety of missile programmes, supporting project activities within the UK Engineering Directorate. Your contributions will ensure that advanced weapon systems are developed to the highest quality standards and delivered to trusted partners worldwide.

Ideal candidates will have:

• An understanding and background in software development and quality assurance within a process-based design and development environment.
• Knowledge of software processes, including national and international standards and assurance requirements.
• Ability to lead Project Quality Assessments, identify risks and critical issues, and contribute to monthly reports.
• Capability to work independently as well as part of a functional and integrated team.
• Knowledge of DOORS, RTC, Rhapsody, MATLAB/Simulink would be beneficial but not essential.
