Python Architect

Description:

A London based global medical device company (backed by Zuckerburg and Musk, Bezos, Gates) have an opportunity for a Software Architect to work with them on a Life saving device that provides data intensive medical product you will be working on the Backend infrastructure, this is a high pay hybrid London working opportunity, crucially working with the backend architecture to work on increasingly high amounts of data. At the moment the client have 15,000 devices each of which provides 10 pulses of data every 30 seconds but the client are looking to scale this to 250,000+ devices and need the infrastructure to be able to handle this volume.

Experience building an architecture from scratch and scaling to deal with high volumes of data is the core requirement – the client use Python as the primary language, C++ as a secondary language (both are required) and AWS on the cloud.

At present various versions of SQL are being used as the database but the client are open to suggestion and happy to move to Mongo/Snowflake for example. Any experience working to safety critical standards or in the medical industry is an added benefit but not essential.
