Public Relations Communications Manager

A leading Tech company is looking for a External Communications Manager to work on partnering with their customers

Responsibilities:

 

  • Create strategic communications plans around content safety, disinformation, and election integrity.

 

  • Manage media coverage of inflection points specific to content regulation such as the EU Digital Services Act (DSA), including the filing of transparency reports, audit processes, enforcement procedures, etc.

 

  • Kids and Family Safety - work with global affairs / public policy (GAPP) and Trust and Safety to deliver proactive communications campaigns related to the online safety of teens and kids.

 

  • Should hold experience in Crisis Communication, writing warnings, content responsibility efforts, and prepare regional leadership for media interviews, conferences and other public engagement.

 

Mandatory Skills/Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent Total years experience in what industry, discipline or
  • 8+ years working in communications roles. Experience in electoral politics or government a plus.
  • Skills or processes candidates must have to be considered for the role: Strong written and verbal communications skills in English.
