Project Manager - Ecommerce Content

The role of Project Management within the business is to facilitate the needs of the client by running the project process, owning the schedule, tracking the output of the practitioners to ensure our work is delivered on time, on budget, meeting standards and client goals.

 


This role will specialise in the production and delivery of Ecommerce Content and combines project management and freelancer management tasks to ensure deliverables are delivered on time.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting the Sales team on creating project pricebooks, producing client project plans and other materials to append to Order Forms.
  • Taking ownership of project needs/requests in line with the Client’s strategy, ensuring that they are facilitated through to completion within the required time frame and budgets.
  • Organising and facilitating internal kick-off meetings, ensuring internal project teams are up to speed on the Scope of Work and our commitments to the client.
  • Creating central project plan (timeline) and managing through to project completion
  • Providing revenue and pacing insights for projects to ensure tight adherence to the agreed scope/budget.
  • Gathering inputs/assets from clients and delivering outputs to clients as required.
  • Managing changes to scope, brief and timelines in a way that balances the needs of the client with the needs of the business, and the freelancers working on the project.
  • Serving as the escalation point for issues that need to be raised with the client. Working collaboratively with the Client Manager to address these.

 


Production Management

  • Creating input & output templates
  • Preparing inputs/assets for allocation and preparing/delivering outputs to clients as required (depending on method of delivery)
  • Creating detailed production schedules for freelancers, accurately planning freelancer requirements, asset/resource requirements, freelancer and client deadlines, content creation workflows.
  • In line with project requirements, sourcing freelancers from the Network, clearly communicating key information, rates and screening tests and scheduling freelancer training.
  • Allocating work to freelancers and overseeing activity to ensure they meet deadlines, being the point of contact for freelancers (working on your projects) with regards to questions on payments, availability, and deadlines, and managing monthly freelancer payments.
  • Motivating freelancers working on your projects, minimising churn and improving freelancer happiness scores.

 

Qualifications

  • An understanding of the technologies and processes involved in managing Performance Content delivery
  • Ecommerce experience
  • Experience using project management tools for task/time/resource management
  • A clear understanding of project management methodologies including waterfall and agile
  • Ability to manage the production of content with Freelancers teams and engender positive working relationships
  • Good commercial awareness
  • A passion for digital and a desire to learn new skills
