Project Manager

 

Description:

Our client is a Project Manager will run delivery of a migration project for M&S Pet Insurance in accordance with agreed bank policy and guidelines, aligned to Agile Methodologies. They will deliver against business needs by adhering to legal, risk and compliance requirements for regulatory, discretionary growth and system infrastructure changes.

 

Key Accountabilities:

 

  • Manage the delivery of the migration – on time and in adherence to the bank mandated project methodology, individual and business objectives.
  • Continually assess, identify and implement opportunities for enhancements to the project processes and mitigate risks, removing blockers.
  • Apply stakeholder management techniques to manage interest and involvement to drive momentum for delivery across the team/department/ wider business and external insurance partners.
  • Build and maintain professional trusted relationships with key internal and external stakeholders across the full project journey.
  • Use a range of project management subject areas and tools, influencing and negotiation techniques to manage and control projects, delivering quality projects on time and within budget.

 

Knowledge & Experience:

 

  • A demonstrable track record of effective project management
  • An outstanding communicator across all stakeholder levels with the ability to adapt the message to the audience.
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills, with Agile methodology experience or knowledge.
  • An ability to handle multiple priorities and work at pace.
  • A good understanding of the UKI business, regulatory landscape and UK customer base.
  • A working knowledge of risk and issue management.
