Project Manager

Description:

We are currently recruiting an Assistant Project Manager or Project Manager for our North West region, to be based from either our Manchester or Liverpool office. This is an exciting opportunity for an entrepreneurial individual to join and strengthen our Project Management offering and presents an excellent prospect for a proactive individual to take responsibility for providing all core Project Management services on several interesting projects, for a wide range of clients.

This is an exciting moment to join RLB in our journey; as our Project Management offering grows, you will have the opportunity to work across many sectors such as commercial, residential, education and leisure sectors among others within the private and public sector.

Key Responsibilities
 

• Supporting the project management of projects, coordinating management of the project timetable, quality, and cost, and ensuring client requirements are delivered.
• Working as part of the PM team to ensure we achieve business objectives.
• Carry out assigned duties efficiently and in accordance with processes and procedures
• Take personal responsibility for complying with Environmental, Health, Safety, Security and Quality Standards
   

Professional Skills
 

• Awareness of the project lifecycle from feasibility through to completion and post-handover
• Experience of developing and implementing project controls for example programmes and risk registers,
• Management of meetings, taking and preparation of minutes
• Preparation of progress reports and presentation at monthly client meetings
• Experience of procurement of professional teams and contractors
• Management of multi-disciplinary project teams
• Working knowledge of various common forms of building contracts (JCT and NEC)
• Experience of administering building contracts
