We currently have 2 very exciting opportunities for an experienced Design Engineer, one role within our Marine department working on new product development and one role within our Aerospace department working on aerospace rafts. Both of these exciting opportunities are on a permanent basis at our Dunmurry site.

You as our Project Engineer will be executing and coordinating engineering tasks to deliver Survitec safety solutions that meet the current and future needs of Survitec customers. It supports all stages of the engineering process, from product or solution design and adaptation, through deployment to assessing and signing off overall solution.

What You Can Expect from the Role

Key Responsibilities and accountabilities:

• ​Work with Survitec customers to design safety solutions that meet customer and regulatory requirements.
• ​Help draft the engineering standards and specifications for a range of Survitec solutions.
• ​Identify shortcomings in existing production or assembly planning processes, systems and procedures and deliver straight forward reporting.
• ​Carry out inspections to evaluate the quality of engineering works and integrity of existing installations or structures.
• ​Build and maintain effective day-to-day relationships with contract service providers.
• ​Develop and work within clear project plans, delivering solutions on time, within budget and to appropriate quality and regulatory standards
• ​Analyse product and performance information.

The Experience, Qualifications and Skills You Will Have

Essential

• 3 + Years of experience in a similar mechanical design engineering role
• ​Experience in design projects
• Experience in Autocad or Solid works
• ​Must have problem solving skills
