Production Engineer

Description:

We are looking for an experienced Production Engineer to manage the in-house and 3rd party manufacturing. Our products are low volume and high-complexity, and require a talented production engineer who can work with all levels of the business to transition product designs into manufacturability and through-life supportability.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Line management responsibilities of a small production team and the onboarding and auditing of 3rd-party manufacturers.
• Undertaking activities to improve quality, reduce production cost and ensure the consistency of supply from approved suppliers and partners.
• Proactively collaborate with engineering, supply chain & quality teams to technically support our products to ensure success.

What We Are Looking For:

• Experience of manufacture of Printed Circuit Boards and high reliability Electronic/ Electromechanical assemblies (e.g. Oil & Gas, Aerospace, Nuclear, Railway, Medical) would be advantageous.
• Someone who likes a fast pace, can juggle and works with teams to achieve sometimes competing priorities.
