Description:
Our client, a leading multinational information technology services and consulting company is recruiting for a Product Owner to join their business in the United Kingdom.
- Business Capability (Product) Ownership – you will own a defined set of business capabilities in the SAP Ariba and SAP S/4 HANA space and will run the implementation and support of technology used to support. You will collaborate with process owners and dependent upstream and downstream product managers to ensure there is a consistent and robust solution delivered to support the business
- Work closely with key business stakeholders and technology partners to align on strategy the Product Management team create and deliver end to end user-centric solutions to capture value across the source to pay process
- In conjunction with technology teams, system integration partners and business stakeholders you will develop and lead deployment activities including overall test strategy, change management and communication plans to ensure production readiness including Managing post go-live hyper-care, issue resolution and transition to business as usual
- Project delivery - during the deployment of the project you will lead a team of cross functional developers who will deliver the technology solution while using SAP standard functionality.
- Requirements Analysis and Design Definition – You are Responsible and accountable for requirements management. You are leading the work to identify functional and technical requirements, translating the requirements into design specifications reflecting Functional Design. You will define the overall value proposition and required process and data enablers across the end-to-end platform ensuring optimal design
- You will gather demand from business stakeholders and work with procurement functions to develop business cases and benefit realization plans.
Qualifications
- Overall IT experience of 10+ years
- A proven track record in supply chain area with expertise in the source-to-pay process with a particular emphasis on the P2P lifecycle (5+ years)
- 3+ years of implementation and/or product management experience with SAP S4 HANA and SAP-Ariba products including, Supplier Lifecycle Management, Guided Buying, Ariba Services Procurement, SAP MM and MDG-S. Experience with SAP Concur is a plus
- Technology knowledge: Extended functional knowledge in procurement technology across SAP Ariba (Downstream), SAP S4 HANA MM, FI and MDG-S and their key integration points and dependencies.
- Visionary leader with a global business perspective and passion for working with a high performing organization.
- Excellent communication, influencing and presentation skills. Experience working in Agile and Lean Business methodologies.
- Strong team player, able to work in global, virtual teams in a matrix organization. Strong analytical skills. Able to define and understand the most critical issues. Strong business planning, change management, stakeholder management, information sharing and knowledge transfer skills
