Description:
We are looking for a Procurement Manager to join our enabling function procurement team in Watford.
You’ll:
- Implement of project procurement strategy
- Manage the full tender process to achieve best value procurement solutions
- Undertake procurement activity in accordance with both “Skanska operational procurement – The way of working” and our contractual requirements
- Manage project stakeholders to maintain and seek to improve upon procurement and construction programmes
- Support the implementation of ERP on the scheme.
We’re looking for:
- Experience of procurement and supply chain management
- Product knowledge of materials and plant and subcontracts
- Construction / Site based experience
- Working knowledge of Main Contract T& Cs including NEC
- Confidence to negotiate competitively and effectively.
- Competent in the use of 0365 software
- Awareness of digital procurement tools
- MCIPS or working towards
