As Procurement Manager, you will play a pivotal role in our supply chain operations. Your primary responsibility will be to source and procure materials, equipment, and services in a timely and cost-effective manner, ensuring that we maintain optimal inventory levels while meeting quality standards.

 

Supplier Relationship Management:

 

  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential suppliers.
  • Negotiate favourable terms, prices, and delivery schedules to achieve cost savings and improve overall supplier performance.

 

Strategic Sourcing:

 

  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify new suppliers and stay informed about industry trends.
  • Develop and implement strategic sourcing initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.

 

Contract Negotiation:

 

  • Lead contract negotiations and work closely with legal and other relevant departments to ensure agreements align with company policies and objectives.

 

Quality Assurance:

 

  • Collaborate with quality control teams to establish and maintain high-quality standards for all purchased materials and components.

 

Inventory Management:

 

  • Monitor inventory levels and work closely with production and warehouse teams to prevent stockouts and overstock situations.

 

Cost Analysis:

 

  • Analyse cost structures and recommend cost-saving measures without compromising quality or delivery timelines.

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Proven experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management within the manufacturing industry.
  • Strong negotiation skills and a demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective supplier relationships.
  • Familiarity with sourcing strategies, market trends, and cost analysis.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
