Process Quality Engineer

Description:

Moog Aircraft Group is seeking a Process Quality Engineer to join its Tewkesbury site on a Fixed Term Contract until mid-September. This is an exciting opportunity to support manufacturing processes, drive continuous improvement, and contribute to key APQP elements such as FMEA, MSA, capability studies, control plans, and non-conformance processing.

Key Responsibilities:

✅ Non-Conformance Management: Process, progress, and facilitate manufacturing non-conformances.
✅ Manufacturing Process Support: Assist in daily process improvements.
✅ Process Development: Contribute to PFMEA (Process Failure Mode & Effects Analysis) and Control Plans.
✅ Inspection Planning: Develop and enhance inspection plans.
✅ Measurement System Analysis: Facilitate MSA studies.
✅ Capability Studies: Conduct Process Capability Analysis to ensure manufacturing excellence.

Key Skills & Experience Required:

✔ Quality Engineering Background (essential).
✔ Knowledge of APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning) processes in aerospace or automotive (essential).
✔ Experience in a manufacturing environment.
✔ Familiarity with RCCA (Root Cause & Corrective Action) methodologies.
✔ Strong problem-solving and continuous improvement mindset.
✔ Training will be provided for APQP/PPAP where necessary.
