Essentials
- Chemical / Process Engineering Degree
- Minimum 3 years Process Engineer experience
- High degree of analytical and numeracy skills
- Proficient in report writing, producing documentation and the development of operating procedures and manuals
- Experience of supporting production / manufacturing operations
- Experience of working within multi-discipline teams
- Able to troubleshoot, problem solve, analyse data and suggest improvements to reduce loss / wastage
- Able to specify process equipment and produce datasheets
- Able to undertake project scoping, PFD/P&ID development and produce basis of design documentation
- Familiar with the concept of Process Safety and experience of undertaking and participating in safety studies (HAZOP, PRR and Risk Assessment)
- Experience of Management of Change systems and procedures
- Excellent interpersonal skills, able to work and communicate with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels
Desirables
- Relevant Masters Degree or Equivalent
- Biotech manufacturing experience
- Process optimisation, loss prevention, energy reduction and waste minimisation experience
- Experience of working with design agencies and contractor organisations
- Project management and planning skills / experience
