This position would suit an experienced Manager looking to take on a hands-on position with a fantastic and well-established Top 10 practice that has an excellent reputation.

The position can be built around the candidate’s experience, and aspirations with the primary focus on private client advisory and compliance services for a range of OMB directors, international clients, HNWI’s and UHNWI’s. OPur client is also open to part-time applicants.

The Successful Personal Tax Manager Will Be Responsible For
 

• Reviewing personal tax returns for a broad range of clients
• Overseeing a small team
• Monitoring tax return progress to ensure timely completion and submission to HMRC
• Advising tax clients of tax liabilities due on a timely basis
• Liaising directly with clients to ensure both accurate and prompt completion of tax returns
• Dealing with technical queries as and when required, including the following areas:
• IHT, Trusts, Estates, Wills, CGT, EIS, SEIS, shares, employment tax etc
• Identifying tax planning opportunities
• Dealing with routine HMRC enquiries

The Ideal Candidate Will Demonstrate The Following
 

• CTA / ACA / ACCA qualified
• A minimum of 4 years’ personal tax experience within a practice environment
• A proactive attitude and ability to work in a team
• The ability to work under pressure and prioritise where necessary
• Good communication and organisational skills
• Experience in dealing with non-doms and HNWIs
