Description:
To lead the development and optimisation of allocated areas of RDG’s Engineering strategy to deliver benefits to members in respect of the development of legislation, regulation, standards, research projects and supply chain activities relevant to rolling stock and depot infrastructure.
To ensure that RDG members’ interests are represented at a senior level across a broad range of industry bodies in GB, Europe, and internationally, and that members are familiar with and support RDG Engineering’s activities. This is achieved through working closely with RDG members to support the Train Operator Engineering community.
To manage the Engineering Budgets and contractors that work for RDG in areas of European legislation, regulation and standards development.
To act as Line Manager to the Rolling Stock Engineer.
