Are you an accomplished Medical Writer with a passion for revolutionising healthcare communication? In this pivotal role, you'll play a key part in shaping success across the vibrant landscapes of the UK and EU regions. Reporting to a Senior Scientific Director, you'll be the driving force behind strategic medical communication recommendations to achieve brand goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Independently develop high-quality, medically accurate content for assigned projects, potentially across multiple accounts, incorporating feedback through collaboration with internal scientific and account team members.
- Present your work to internal and external stakeholders.
- Effectively manage your projects.
- Regularly seek feedback from peers to enhance personal performance.
- Lead discussions and manage relationships with clients and KOLs/HCPs.
- Proactively identify resourcing gaps and collaborate with SSD and GSD to address resourcing needs.
- Partner with the Client Services team in timeline development, gaining budgeting skills.
- Participate in brand planning and business development through research and development.
- Monitor the competitive landscape and understand brand strategy related to the competitive landscape in impromptu discussions.
- Demonstrate a creative approach when faced with challenges by data, competitors, and client requests.
Qualifications:
- Advanced degree in Science
Professional Skills/Experience:
- Five or more years of relevant experience in promotional medical education content (advisory boards, speaker programs, slide decks, etc).
- Agency experience
- Ability to analyse and interpret scientific data.
- Demonstrated organisational, analytical, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task, work independently, manage projects with limited direction, and work within tight deadlines.
- Well-versed in established professional medical editorial processes (e.g., AMA style) and ethical guidelines.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word and PowerPoint is required.
