Principal Engineer

Description:

EC1 Partners are exclusively partnered with an extremely successful Digital Asset Market Maker, who are in search for a Principal Engineer/ hands-on Engineering Manager to build out their OTC Desk. This is a newly created role with the scope to grow out a team in the future.

Development skills

• API building experience (Websocket) - Ideally, this profile has built API for crypto exchanges;
• C++ websocket experience (uwebsocket for instance)
• C++ crypto exchange experience (e.g., he / she developed back end: matching engine, transactor, drop copy interfaces, transactions storage and processing: ledger, margin computer, etc.)
• Knowledge of building reliable and fast internet/cloud based systems (i.e., some understanding of network, TCP, etc.)

Field experience

• (High Frequency) Trading experience - e.g., some understanding of types of orders (Limit, Market, RFQ, etc.) and how an order book works
• Moreover, we are interested in additional type of skills (which could lead to other profiles to work with):
• AWS gateway / load balancer / api / sre, etc.;
• IAM / SSO / Cognito / authentication mechanism (JWT etc.)
