Description:

As the leader of the Metros & Civil Division’s Information Management Business, you will be responsible for defining and implementing its vision, providing leadership, and managing operational matters in line with the MNC and Group Strategy. You will also be accountable for the successful delivery of Information Management projects including the appropriate deployment of resources in line with Divisional, Unit and Group Plans and responsible for establishing and developing long term relationships with internal and external customers. The Information Management team has a strong pedigree working on some of the largest projects in the UK and North America, many of these projects are award winning and built on trusted relationships with our clients. The opportunity to deliver measurable change to society using technology on infrastructure projects is significant.

The success of the Information Management Business is the purposeful balance between digital expertise and engineering delivery experience. The team is a key enabler to improve the delivery of Mott MacDonald projects across a range of sectors and has an established pedigree working directly for clients to support their digital transformation strategies. As the leader of this team, you will be expected to continue driving innovation in service delivery, own strategies for the adoption of new technology, establish strong relationships with our clients and ensure the Information Management team is a great place to work.

The 40+ strong team of specialists operate on capital delivery projects with a range of public and private clients across multiple sectors in the UK and internationally. Based predominantly out of the Croydon and Birmingham offices, the team also supports Mott MacDonald to drive forward the group Information Management strategies to drive improved efficiencies on projects of all sizes.

What you will contribute to the team;

  • Responsibility for developing and delivering the Information Management strategy in accordance with Unit and Divisional business plans and managing the relevant Project Leads.
  • Accountability for ensuring that appropriate financial measures are developed in line with business plans including forecasts, budgets and KPIs.
  • Accountability for leading and managing the Information Management business development opportunities in line with the business plan and strategy.
  • Accountability for successful project delivery from both a commercial, programme and technical perspective, with quality outcomes for our clients.
  • Accountability for planning and managing the Information Management team resources to optimise service delivery performance whilst creating space for effective innovation.
  • Accountability for developing and maintaining good client relations.
  • Provide technical leadership to enable successful project delivery.
  • Accountability for the health, safety and wellbeing of the team and ensure that the Special Services business adheres to the Group’s Health & Safety policies and guidelines.
