Pricing Manager

You will have the opportunity to lead on a wide range of activities making it a constantly varied and interesting role. These could include:

 

  • Delivering quotes and supporting the underwriting process
  • Development of pricing models and assumptions
  • Monitoring performance and spotting opportunities to generate additional value
  • Managing workloads, queries and key collaborators
  • Supporting Workplace change projects
  • Commercial assessment of initiatives and market developments

 

We maintain positive relationships within Aviva including with Distribution, Propositions, Operations, Risk and Finance and engage with the trustee directors of Aviva Master Trust. We operate within a strong risk and controls culture adhering to Aviva’s Group Standard and Frameworks as well as Actuarial standards.

 

Skills and experience we’re looking for:

 

  • Qualified/nearly-qualified Actuary or qualified by experience
  • Good communication and influencing skills with the ability to build and maintain positive working relationships across teams such as Finance, Distribution and Proposition
  • Strong Excel skills, preferably with experience of coding and manipulating large datasets
  • Highly analytical with a capability to interpret data and establish alternatives and solutions to complex problems
  • Knowledge of workplace/pensions industry is preferable but not essential
