Portfolio Manager

 

Description:

An established insurance client has engaged us to seek a seasoned Portfolio Manager to join their expanding project delivery function based out of their Leeds office. The successful Portfolio Manager will be joining a team placed across Leeds and London and working on a number of organisation wide transformation projects. Including a re-platform of their claims portal, migration to a modern Microsoft tech stack and to a more Cloud first approach to data migrating to Azure. You will be managing 5 Project Managers and matrix manager a number of other people engaged on the projects. People management experience is essential for this role.

 

Skills:

  • 5-10 years experience as a Portfolio or Programme Manager and responsibility for running multiple large business critical projects concurrently.
  • Prince2 preferred
  • Agile experience ideally Scrums preferred
  • Business Change experience
  • Technology project experience
  • Microsoft Tech Stack including Azure
  • Excellent stakeholder management
  • People management Essential
