The Oracle E-Business Suite Portfolio Director role within the Enterprise Applications practice will lead a team of over 80 consultants and support over 30 customers to deliver a portfolio of c £/€8m. Reporting to the Head of ASPIRE Managed Services in Enterprise Applications, you will lead a team to deliver ASPIRE Managed Services. This is a senior role in Version 1, with opportunity for the right individual to further progress into senior practice leadership roles across Version 1.

As the Portfolio Director you will be expected to lead the team and deliver value to our customers and support the commercial and bid team to win new business and grow the customer base and contribute to the ASPIRE strategy and be at the forefront of value-add initiatives.

In this role you will have full ownership for the P&L of the portfolio and as such, you will likely have held portfolio or programme management roles in the past with responsibility for budgets in the region of £/€500k to £/€3m, or beyond. You will have experience in delivering Customer First outcomes and will understand the challenges in delivering transformational change involving ERP systems. Skills such as the ability to inspire and drive teams, commercial acumen and leading on bids for delivery, ability to ask tough questions, curiosity and willingness to learn are regarded as more important in this role than a deep understanding of Oracle ERP. Oracle Business experience is mandatory for this role. Ideally a background as a Functional Consultant is ideal.

You will be seen as central in the shaping and delivery of key proposals and will be recognised by customers and colleagues as a leader who can bring together the right group of people to deliver the right solution and play a leading role in understanding the needs of the customer, to address customer challenges and understand the commercial balance required to nurture a growing element of our organisation

Qualifications

You will have experience in leading a team, in managing and growing a portfolio of projects/customers and you will be passionate about defining and developing solutions that meet customer challenges and understand the commercial balance required to deliver these solutions between top and bottom-line growth. You’ll enjoy customer engagement and be comfortable with balancing multiple competing demands whilst leading and developing a diverse and highly talented team and promoting and inspiring our core values right across the delivery team.
 

  • Key participant in leading and delivering time-pressure bids, including pricing and customer presentations.Pre-sales experience is ideal.
  • High commercial awareness and ability to manage, report and analyse GP, EBITDA, margin for your team.
  • Proven ability to attain and retain customers with high satisfaction levels.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills – will be required to forge relationships with other Portfolio Directors and the commercial team as examples.
  • Ability to recruit and retain a strong team of consultants as well as resource planning and management.
