Plm Configuration Engineer

We at Outsource are seeking a highly skilled Senior PLM Configuration Engineer to join the dynamic team on a 12-month contract basis at BAE Systems. This role involves specialized work in Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems, focusing on configuration management to support our engineering and manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities
 

• Manage and configure PLM tools to support product development and lifecycle management.
• Ensure the integrity and functionality of PLM configurations across various platforms.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align PLM configurations with business goals.
• Lead projects to optimize PLM processes and system improvements.
• Document configuration processes and results, providing clear reports and presentations to stakeholders.
   

Requirements:
 

• Proven experience in PLM tools configuration, particularly in a defense, aerospace, or similar industrial sector.
• Strong understanding of engineering processes and systems lifecycle management.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
• Familiarity with industry standards and regulations pertaining to configuration management.
