Platform Engineer

Description:

The successful Platform Engineer will have proven experience in a similar role and your skills will include extensive Linux and Cloud experience. You should have experience providing management of shared infrastructure and contributing to the design of multi-tenancy systems.Core skills required:
 

• Excellent working knowledge of Linux systems (advanced Linux topics i.e. eBFP, cgroups etc. are beneficial)
• Excellent experience working with cloud providers
• Experience of container orchestration (Kubernetes)
• Solid understanding of software development
• Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and Ansible
• Understanding of version control using Git
• Managing several projects and prioritising demands
• Self-managing workload and continually meeting agreed deadlines
