Overview:

• We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Junior Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist with expertise in acupuncture to join us.
• As a junior Physiotherapist -you will be responsible for providing excellent musculoskeletal physiotherapy services to patients, applying evidence-based treatments, and integrating acupuncture techniques to optimize patient outcomes.
• This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated individual who is passionate about helping patients recover from musculoskeletal conditions and is trained in acupuncture techniques.

Responsibilities

1. Assessment and Evaluation:

- Conduct thorough initial assessments of patients with musculoskeletal conditions to understand their complete subjective history, medical history and treatment /functional goals. Utilize excellent clinical reasoning skills to diagnose and develop personalized treatment plans based on individual needs.

- Evaluate the effectiveness of treatments, select appropriate interventions as necessary, and progress the treatments and rehabilitation accordingly.

 

2. Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy:

- Implement evidence-based physiotherapy interventions, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and rehabilitation techniques, to address patients' musculoskeletal issues.

- Patient education, devise treatment plans, and set self-management strategies to facilitate faster recovery and improve long-term outcomes.

 

3. Acupuncture Services:

- Perform acupuncture treatments on patients, utilizing traditional acupuncture methods and other relevant techniques to address pain, inflammation, and improve overall well-being.

- Stay informed about the latest developments in acupuncture and integrate new approaches into treatment plans when appropriate.

 

4. Collaborative Care:

- Work closely with Physiozen Ltd.staff, to ensure comprehensive and integrated patient care.

- Engage in team meetings and contribute valuable insights to optimize patient outcomes.

 

5. Documentation and Reporting:

- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and outcomes in accordance with legal and ethical standards.

- Generate concise and informative reports for internal and external stakeholders as required.

 

6. Continuing Education:

- Commit to ongoing professional development to enhance clinical skills and stay updated with current best practices.

 

7. Quality Assurance:

- Comply with all regulatory guidelines, professional standards, and organizational policies to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care and safety.

Requirements:

 

- Degree in Physiotherapy from a recognized institution.

- Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) as a Physiotherapist.

- Additional certification and training in acupuncture techniques.

- Previous experience in a musculoskeletal physiotherapy setting is an advantage.

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and colleagues.

- A proactive and adaptable approach to patient care, with a commitment to continuous improvement.

- Work in stipulated part time hours, on a self-employed basis.
