As part of the personal tax team, the successful candidate will manage a portfolio of clients and oversee the work of junior team members. Reporting to the Tax Directors & Partners, the role involves managing and optimizing the performance of the personal tax department.

Key Responsibilities
 

• Manage client portfolios, ensuring their needs are met and maximizing revenue.
• Oversee the production and review of personal tax returns for both own portfolio and junior members'.
• Actively participate in tax advisory work relevant to skill level.
• Plan, monitor, and review ad hoc tasks to ensure timely completion within set budgets.
• Conduct consultancy work and attend client meetings as required.
• Undertake ad hoc projects and research as necessary.
• Allocate and review tasks, ensuring appropriate training for trainees.
• Maintain up-to-date tax technical knowledge through continuous professional development.
   

Requirements
 

• CTA/ACA/ACCA/ATT qualified, with consideration for QBE candidates.
• Minimum 2 years PQE.
• Previous experience managing a portfolio of personal tax clients, within a firm of Chartered Accountants.
• Proficient in IT (Excel, Word, tax software) and possess strong communication skills.
• Demonstrated supervisory, organizational, and client-focused abilities.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work well under pressure.
