People Administrator

 

Description:


As a People Administrator you will be working within a fast-paced, challenging and diverse environment, where you’ll provide pivotal support to the wider HR/People function throughout our team members life cycle. The role will have a particular focus on people reporting and payroll processing. You will need to be a resilient, inquisitive and comfortable with stakeholder engagement at various levels. Your challenge is to develop and build relationships with our internal stakeholders whilst you support them with their people management and processes.
 

  • Support our Culture Champions “Lead Pioneers” to deliver training, and help to ensure team have a great induction, are assigned a Buddy and work through their 90 day induction, helping towards keeping team engaged and retention low.
  • Be able to facilitate Safe & Secure mandatory training sessions on park where needed.
  • Governance & Compliance - Manage DBS & Right to Work processes on park, being gatekeeper to the system and the process
  • Running regular reports and interpreting the data
  • Support Managers with the leavers process ensuring the termination of team and leavers process is followed correctly. Also help to drive the completion of exit interviews when team leave
  • Support the management of payroll for the park, ensuring that all departments are compliant with SAM roster system including absence and holiday records
  • Understand how to support Team in their welfare and understand the link with Wellbeing champion
  • Support with general Administration tasks, keep an accurate record of live on team and support with recognition activities. Also support Managers with general Employee Relations Tasks.
  • Acts as a subject matter expert for all people and development processes on park


Experience And Qualifications

You may already be an Administrator or HR Assistant which is great! All we are looking for is…
 

  • Must be highly competent (and confident) in computer and IT systems including Word, Excel, Power point and Outlook
  • Previous experience in HR/People administrative roles
  • Positive approach with a confident attitude.
  • Ability to present information confidently at all levels.
  • Possess excellent written and verbal communication, a demonstrable ability to write and communicate clearly to managers and team, as well as the ability to escalate and communicate risks in a timely manner
  • Experience and understanding of handling sensitive information, keeping a high level of diplomacy and confidentiality with strong attention to detail
  • A CIPD accreditation is desirable, however is not essential – this is a great opportunity if you are at the start of your HR career
