As a Partnership Sales Manager your primary responsibility is to build and maintain long-lasting relationships with media agency partnerships teams and clients to deliver media deals for the business. Additional responsibilities include building sales decks,negotiating contracts, identifying sales opportunities, and determining areas for sales growth. You will be an expert inMedia sales, focusing on media partnerships and you will have long standing agency relationships in the UK
What you’ll do:
- Sell social first content solutions across multiple platforms and products including video, sponsorship and display advertising
- Pitching to, building and maintaining relationships with media agency partnership and planning teams, whilst strengthening existing relationships the company already holds
- Develop agency and client relationships
- Work closely with the Founder to develop the business to new heights
- Manage and update brand partnership databases
- Forging new relationships with agencies to create a regular flow of business
- Prepare for and manage business meetings with clients ranging from junior-level senior agency buyers to CMOs.
- Develop a sales strategy and business plan for generating revenue through premium direct sales to brands and agencies
- Be an expert on social media, content marketing, mobile and digital video
- Exceed individual sales goals while contributing to overall team goals
- Collaborate with our editorial teams to introduce sponsorship opportunities around new editorial launches to client partners
- Identify and understand trends within media
- Analyze data and use it to grow the business
What you’ll have:
- Track record at a social media publisher and digital sales to Media Agencies and client direct
- Demonstrated an ability to identify new revenue generating solutions/products/strategies
- Creative flair for industry leading campaigns
- Strong knowledge of social media platforms
- Previous experience successfully driving revenue through prospecting, discovery, pitching, closing, renewing and upselling
- Intellectual curiosity, an entrepreneurial spirit and a great attitude
- Collaborate with internal partner teams while being independent in managing your business
- Experience navigating the internet and social platforms
- A desire to learn and adapt in an ever-changing industry
- Deep network of agency and advertiser relationships
