Description:
We are looking for an individual to join our team and build lasting connections between the South Lincolnshire Food Enterprise Zone (SLFEZ), the local business community, residents, tenants, and other stakeholders, to ensure that the National Centre for Food Manufacturing (NCFM) and its offering is well communicated, fully understood, embraced, and maximised. You will have an integral role in achieving the strategic goals and ambitions for the site and will help to generate interest, engender support, and attract stakeholders.
The SLFEZ is the UK’s leading cluster hub for the food sector, benefitting from its location in the heart of the UK largest collection of food businesses. The zone is intended as a catalyst for the Agri-tech and Agri-food sectors, increasing productivity and bringing innovation, and higher-level skills for these sectors in an area where employment in the food industry is significant.
An integrated partnership between the University, the Greater Lincolnshire Local Enterprise Partnership (GLLEP), Lincolnshire County Council (LCC), and South Holland District Council (SHDC) has facilitated the first phase development of the SLFEZ. The partners, as members of the South Lincolnshire Food Enterprise Programme Board, are now working to bring the full development to fruition, stimulating investment and business growth to realize Greater Lincolnshire's 'Food Valley' ambition which is to be a global 'top-ten' food hub.
