Key work areas include:
- Establish clear action planning to achieving the main aim of the car parking strategies and business objectives.
- Develop and report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for senior management, consistent for all Districts.
- Ensure strong contract management practices are followed at all times with all national contracts.
- Track and monitor performance of 3rd party suppliers, perform basic trend analysis and ensure 3rd parties are meeting Service Level Agreements (SLAs) requirements based upon the agreed contractual requirements.
- Provide technical car parking support and costings to districts.
- Provide project support during the implementation of car parking management systems to deliver solutions in alignment with Forestry England car parking strategy.
- Create guidance and processes for all elements of car parking management and enforcement.
- Be the main operational point of contact for escalation for districts issues.
- Responsibility and advising on all car parking communications.
- Working closely with internal and external communications teams/design team and suppliers, to ensure a clear consistent message on site for public and staff.
- Any other parking related tasks reasonably requested by your line manager.
Person specification
Essential:
- Strong account and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong communication skills in dealing with internal and external stakeholders Experience of delivering tasks across multiple work areas or projects, to deadlines.
- At least 2 years of car parking industry experience.
- Knowledge of parking technology, systems and operating practices.
- Excellent organisational, communication and analytical skills.
Desirable:
- Knowledge and experience of report writing, communications writing and planning.
- Knowledge and understanding of car parking technologies for rural environments
- Knowledge and understanding car parking legislation and policies
- Experience of car parking service and process management principles
