Cable Systems, a leading provider of electrical solutions for harsh and hazardous environments, is seeking an experienced Panel Wireman to join their team. Recently acquired by UK Electric, Cable Systems is now positioned to offer a wider range of high-quality products and services.
As a Panel Wireman, you will be responsible for the assembly and wiring of electrical components, ensuring high standards of quality and compliance with industry regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assembly and wiring of ATEX distribution boards.
- Building and wiring various products, including control stations, junction boxes, and safety switches.
- Producing CAD drawings for electrical assemblies.
- Handling customer inquiries and producing quotations.
- Creating sales orders and internal works orders.
- Conducting self-inspections and electrical current testing using high-voltage testers.
- Performing occasional site visits as needed.
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
- Essential electrical qualifications required.
- Compex training is highly advantageous.
- Experience in electrical engineering, preferably in hazardous environments.
- Familiarity with ATEX standards is beneficial but not mandatory.
- Proficiency in CAD software for electrical drawings.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

- Monday to Thursday: 08:00 – 17:00
- Friday: 08:00 – 15:00
