Overpayment Recovery Officer

What you’ll be doing:

• Progress recovery of overpaid Housing Benefit invoices after the automated recovery cycle has ended

• To organise individual workload to ensure recovery time-scales are met and meet team priorities

• To achieve targets and objectives in line with Performance Management procedures and EG Work Manager

• To complete daily monitoring sheets for Performance Management procedures

• To raise any issues with Team Leader in good time.

• Preparing Court Documents and attending Dartford County Court.

• Computer Literate – MS Office Applications

• Strong team working ethic (Knowledge Sharing)

• Self motivated and team player

• Communication skills, written and oral

• Good business letter writing skills

• Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines

• Good organisational skills

• Good attention to detail

• Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships
