About the role
 

  • Provide support, supervision, guidance, observing practice, delivering training, coaching and mentoring and continuously improving our support
  • Ensure that we train our circa 4200 staff across the UK in a range of areas; inclusive of Motivational Interviewing and Trauma Informed Care
  • Ensure training is provided in a timescale and programmed manner
  • Work with colleagues to identify, mitigate and address risks to programme delivery, communicating these effectively to gain support where needed
  • Ensure that constructive, positive and supportive relationships are maintained with all relevant stakeholders

     

About you
 

  • Accredited training in Motivational Interviewing within the last 5 years
  • Demonstrable experience as a practitioner delivering Motivational Interviewing techniques
  • Experience of working with some of the diverse groups of people who Change Grow Live serves – adults, children and young people, drugs and alcohol, mental health, criminal justice etc
  • Excellent communication skills - inclusive of IT skills, verbal, written and presentation – openness, listening and collaboration
  • Ability to identify, apply and respond to different learning styles
