Office Manager

Pleased to be supporting this established Law firm in recruiting for an Office Manager to work in this busy and fast-paced role and environment. The role will involve working in one of the most respected firms in the country with a great culture, a fantastic benefits package and great career advancement and training opportunities.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Daily management and supervision of business services teams (4 direct reports)
  • Ensure office supplies, resources and consumables are stocked.
  • Work with all members of the IT and Business Services team.
  • Work with other Office Managers, covering where necessary and assisting with ensuring cover is maintained by managing the rota.
  • Organise regular meetings.
  • Work with the Events Manager to ensure events are executed in a professional and cost-efficient manner.
  • Manage desk and office moves alongside the Facilities Manager.
  • Obtain competitive quotations for any works required.
  • Assist with the recruitment & training of new staff.
  • Make sure HR records are kept updated, new starter inductions and performance appraisals.
  • Ensure the site accident book is kept up to date.
  • Act as Fire Marshall.
  • Responsible for Health and Safety audits.
  • Complete all site Risk Assessments.

  • Ability to build positive working relationships with direct reports.
  • Excellent observation and organisational skills – with attention to detail.
  • Demonstration of a flexible approach.
  • Previous Office Management experience
  • Experience in using office and meeting room equipment.
