As The Office Manager For Our Dynamic London Office, You Will Be Pivotal In Crafting a Conducive Work Environment That Reflects Carta's Innovative Spirit. You Will Manage a Broad Range Of Activities From Office Logistics To Event Planning, Ensuring Our Operations Align Seamlessly With Our Strategic Goals. Here Are Some Specific Problems You'll Solve
- Organize and coordinate in-office and offsite events, managing details like catering and venue booking
- Oversee REWS systems, including ticketing and utilization tracking through tools like Jira and Envoy
- Lead the design, coordination, and execution of in office events, especially after our work from home month in July
- Handle budget planning and management, ensuring fiscal discipline in office operations
- Coordinate with IT to facilitate flawless digital communication, particularly for remote interactions via ZOOM
- Develop and enforce new policies and procedures as needed to enhance office efficiency and experience
- Manage emergency response procedures and act as the primary contact for office and building emergencies
- Build and maintain exceptional vendor relationships, overseeing services including catering, property management, and cleaning
- Administer seating arrangements and desk relocations, maintaining an optimal workspace configuration
- Handle financial tasks such as invoice processing, credit card reconciliations, and budget tracking
- Play a key role in employee onboarding, including welcoming new hires and managing building access
- Ensure the office is well-stocked and maintain the overall upkeep of the facility and its amenities#
