Office Administrator

This opportunity will allow you to build on your admin skills and learn about the charity/social enterprise sector. You will support in various departments across Central Office as well as take ownership of essential tasks like the Heath and Safety procedures for office staff.

 

 

 

Main duties and responsibilities:

- Responding to general email and phone enquiries.

- Contribute to the smooth running of the office.

- Receive visitors, post and general walk in enquiries.

- Maintain records relating to LEYF Central Office.

- Overseeing the general office environment – maintaining and supplying resources when required.

- Taking responsibility for other LEYF meeting spaces outside of LEYF Central Office.

- Working with the Facilities team to maintain LEYF health and safety checks – (fire testing, alarms, boiler services, pest control and waste collection etc).

- Managing contracts with suppliers.

- Ensuring compliance with Health and Safety policies and procedures.

- Take ownership of keeping the office tidy, including arranging regular clear outs with the office team.

- Working with IT team to ensure room booking systems are running effectively.

- Supporting the Head of Executive Office with event planning and logistics.

- Supporting various Central Office teams in planning, minute taking, coordinating and fundraising.

- Supporting in diary coordination for the wider Executive and Trustee team.
