Description:
An exciting opportunity is available for a qualified Occupational Therapist to join a specialist pediatric clinic in Harlow, providing compassionate and dynamic therapy to infants, toddlers, children, and adolescents with cerebral palsy. This full-time, permanent position is ideal for a highly motivated individual who values impactful, hands-on therapy and a collaborative, growth-oriented environment.
You will be joining a supportive clinical team that delivers uplifting, high-energy therapy to international clients. The role involves working with young people to help develop, improve, or restore their functional abilities related to daily living, social-emotional well-being, cognition, and sensory function.
Key Responsibilities:
Assess, diagnose, and treat pediatric clients with motor and sensory impairments.
Create and implement tailored treatment plans based on neurodevelopmental and biomechanical frameworks.
Train patients and caregivers on assistive devices, mobility tools, and home exercise programs.
Accurately document clinical findings, evaluations, and progress reports.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and maintain strong rapport with clients.
Manage caseloads efficiently and support clinical practice development.
Ensure adherence to professional, legal, and ethical standards.
Participate in continual professional development.
Requirements:
HCPC registration (mandatory)
Prior experience working with children affected by cerebral palsy
Physically able to lift, push, or pull up to 22 kg (manual therapy handling)
Working Hours: Full-time, 8:00am – 4:30pm
