Nursery Assistant

We’re currently seeking a qualified nursery assistant to join a wonderful team in a highly rated nursery in the Nottinghamshire area. As a nursery assistant, you’ll play a crucial role in providing a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children to learn and grow. This role will be part time, 2 days a week.

Your responsibilities will include assisting with daily activities, such as feeding, nappy changing and nap time. You will plan and implement age-appropriate educational and recreational activities. You will also communicate effectively with parents and team members. You will maintain a clean and organised classroom environment while also having fun!

The Successful Nursery Assistant Will Have
 

• Relevant qualifications in early childhood education or a related field
• Experience working with young children in a nursery or preschool setting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A genuine passion for working with children and helping them thrive
