Description:
Cranstoun is seeking a compassionate and experienced Non-Medical Prescriber (NMP) to join our clinical team in Worcestershire. This role offers the opportunity to make a real impact in substance misuse services by providing high-quality, evidence-based care to individuals struggling with alcohol and drug use.
✔ Provide safe, compassionate, and high-quality prescribing services for individuals with substance misuse issues.
✔ Conduct clinical assessments and create individualized treatment plans aligned with NICE guidelines.
✔ Offer harm reduction interventions, including opioid substitution therapy and detoxification support.
✔ Deliver on-site clinics, outreach services, and satellite clinics across Worcestershire.
✔ Work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams, including social workers, mental health professionals, and support workers.
✔ Ensure compliance with safeguarding policies, clinical guidelines, and legal frameworks.
✔ Support the recovery principles in addiction and integrate Innovative Treatment Enhancement Programmes (ITEP) into clinical practice.
✔ Provide training and support to colleagues, helping strengthen service delivery.
✔ Maintain accurate records and contribute to service development initiatives.
✔ Must be a qualified nurse or advanced clinical practitioner with an active NMC or GPhC registration.
✔ Experience in substance misuse services and managing patients with complex needs.
✔ Strong knowledge of harm reduction approaches, general health issues related to substance use, and safeguarding protocols.
✔ Familiarity with detoxification and stabilisation protocols (in line with NICE guidelines).
✔ Ability to adapt treatment approaches to meet diverse patient needs.
✔ Comfortable working independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
✔ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with service users and stakeholders.
