Description:
This is an exciting time to work for AAC as we look to expand across the United Kingdom, to compliment our existing office in Birmingham. You will be part of a friendly, supportive working environment and we will provide mentoring, support and guidance for you and your development on a one-to-one basis. Furthermore, as a small consultancy, you will be exposed to information regarding the wider business, and be involved in helping the business develop further.
Your day-to-day duties will include:
- Overseeing the planning of projects, assessments and monitoring surveys.
- Delivery of assessments and projects, ensuing the consistency and quality of the work and the financial management.
- Data analysis, calculations and predictions (Including noise modelling)
- Writing detailed reports including preparing figures, presenting data and using GIS
- Undertaking project administration using and ensuring consistency with company standards.
- Preparing fee proposals,
- Liaise with clients, local authorities and engineers regarding project requirements
- Representing AAC at project team meetings and with other stakeholder meetings.
- Assisting in training and development of junior team members.
- Assisting in the development of the services, policies and procedures
Skills and Experience – Essential
- 1 – 3 years relevant experience (depending upon experience).
- Dynamic with strong interpersonal skills, good organisation and problem-solving skills and an attention to detail.
- Strong technical capability and ability to review and interpret data.
- Ability and willingness to undertake site-based and field work
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and deliver work to tight deadlines.
- Able to draw on common sense to solve problems effectively but also efficiently.
- A full UK driving license, as some travel will be required and the ability to undertake site-based field work including outside of normal working hours.
