New Business Manager

Description:

Reporting to the Head of Corporate Partnerships, you will have the opportunity to shape and implement our corporate partnerships strategy, focusing on areas such as charity of the year, cause-related marketing, and brand partnerships.

Your role as a New Business Manager will involve a diverse range of responsibilities that contribute to our financial success. You will identify prospective partnerships and companies, preparing effective stewardship plans to engage them and nurture meaningful relationships.

As a New Business Manager, your strategic acumen will be critical in driving significant income for our organisation. You will develop and manage a robust pipeline of new business corporate prospects, ensuring that financial targets are not only met but exceeded. Additionally, you will organise and oversee cultivation and stewardship events, managing guest-lists and invitations to create impactful experiences. Collaboration with the Head of Partnerships, Network Engagement, and Brand teams will be essential to maximise partnership opportunities. By liaising at all levels within the organisation, you will ensure seamless coordination and alignment to achieve shared objectives. You will have line management responsibility, managing the New Business officer.

About you

To be successful in this role, you will have a proven track record of securing income/partnerships, within a fundraising/sponsorship/commercial sales environment, as well as experience of working with a broad range of stakeholders to create high-quality proposals.

You should possess outstanding planning, negotiation, and communication skills, combined with a deep understanding of the fundraising sector and its trends. Effective project planning, prioritisation, and time management will enable you to deliver on key performance indicators in collaboration with stakeholders. Building and managing senior relationships with corporate partners and internal stakeholders will be integral to your success.
