Network Architect

Description:

As Lead Network Engineer / Network Architect, you will play a pivotal role in managing and enhancing the company's global network infrastructure. You will be responsible for the design, configuration, maintenance and robust security measures to safeguard the network. Your efforts will directly impact the users, empowering them to execute their daily tasks while continually improving the network's performance for a great user experience.

In this role, you will take ownership of the network team's strategic roadmap, enabling you to be a catalyst for change. You will use your knowledge to drive innovation and enable you and your team to deliver an excellent quality of service. You will also apply your leadership skills as a mentor and a coach, guiding other network engineers, helping them learn and grow.

✅ Must have requirements:

• Proven track record in designing, building and maintaining globally distributed network infrastructure
• Significant experience with: VXLAN/EVPN, Underlay and Overlay routing, ISIS Routing Protocol, BGP Routing, multicast
• Managing and maintaining a global Fortinet based estate
• Switching & routing experience - we use Extreme, but other vendors like Cisco, Juniper or Arista are also fine
• Network performance tuning
• Network security tooling & practices
• Mentoring and coaching team members
• Modern network administration experience, e.g. configuration management, automation, DevOps principles for networking, and “network as code” concepts
