My client is one of the most popular International Beer Brands which is highly represented across the world. The client boasts a fantastic range of beer along with a ground breaking sustainability message. The company pride themselves on the quality of the product and their message to “go green”.

 

They are currently seeking a National Account Manager to lead the sales of the Contract Packing facilities at this newly built and modern Brewery. The National Account Manager will sell the bottling and canning line, offering a premium service to other drinks brands along with own brand products.

 

The National Account Manager role will involve B2B sales along with a black book of drink brands to approach for Contract Packing and Bottling in one of the largest facilities in the UK.

 

National Account Manager responsibilities include:

 

  • Selling and negotiating Contract Packing within drinks brands across the UK
  • Involved in own brand product sale along with ensuring the Brewery operates at Maximum packaging capacity.
  • Identify new opportunities in the market with different brands along with collaborative business strategies
  • Manage projects surrounding co-packaging and how this will impact business growth, along with design and logistics.
  • Prospect and pitch to new clients along with maintaining excellent relationships. Grasp all opportunities given.
  • Report on business trends and growth, along with managing the finance and budget for the projects.

 

The Ideal National Sales Manager

 

  • The candidate MUST come from a Sales background in Contract Packaging
  • Strong network of drink brands who would move into Contract Packaging.
  • Must have a good understanding of how co-packaging works and the procedure behind the process.
  • Previous experience of the beer and brewing industry is desirable but not essential, very open to candidates who have worked in similar fields.
  • An excellent understanding of sales and negotiations, along with manufacturing and production.
  • Must be results focused with good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Must be prepared to travel.
