Description:
As a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation and upkeep of our client’s facilities and equipment. You will be responsible for performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairing machinery and systems to minimise downtime and maintain optimal productivity.
Key Responsibilities:
- routine inspections and preventive maintenance tasks on machinery, equipment, and systems to identify and address potential issues before they escalate.
- mechanical, electrical, and other technical problems using diagnostic tools and equipment.
- repairs, adjustments, and replacements of faulty components to restore equipment functionality.
- promptly to breakdowns and equipment failures to minimise downtime and ensure rapid resolution.
- with production and operations teams to prioritise maintenance tasks and minimise disruptions to production schedules.
- accurate maintenance records, including work orders, maintenance logs, and equipment history.
- in the installation, commissioning, and testing of new equipment and machinery as needed.
- compliance with safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment for all employees.
Requirements:
- qualifications in Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- experience working as a Maintenance Engineer or similar role in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- mechanical and electrical aptitude with proficiency in troubleshooting and repair techniques.
- with preventive maintenance software and maintenance management systems.
