Description:
An excellent opportunity has arisen with a global financial services organisation who are rolling out MS Dynamics across the organisation for the first time. The technical elements will be completed by a third party and this role will form the position of a smart customer and project manager.
The contractor will firstly understand the environment, gather requirements and project manage the implementation. You will work with the vendor to ensure the solution is not only fit for purpose but maximises its potential. You will provide training and deliver the solution to a state of BAU. This is an excellent opportunity to deliver this high-profile greenfield project.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Oversee ERP, accounting, Treasury Management System, and Reporting systems
- Manage end-to-end project lifecycle, including design, implementation, roll-out, and aftercare
- Take ownership of project management, deliverables, timetable, and vendor/consultant relationships
- Review and challenge requests from external providers
- Guide and manage input collection from internal finance teams and stakeholders
- Sign off on proposed deliverables before seeking confirmation from business owners
- Support systems implementations through design, parametrization, customization, testing, and reporting
- Monitor and track performance and data quality, collaborating with integrators
- Drive data cleansing and internal testing strategies, managing test scripts
- Analyse business process issues, provide consulting assistance, and recommend solutions
- Monitor, maintain, and upgrade information systems.
- Document new processes and procedures.
- Supervise software support staff and partners, participate in contracting, hiring, and training new finance team members on systems and processes.
- Manage internal and external stakeholders on a weekly basis.
Essential Skills and Experience:
- 10+ years experience, preferably in large multicultural international organisation
- Installing, configuring and troubleshooting ERPs such as MS Dynamics
- Utilizing and managing databases (SQL/MS Azure) and BI tools (PowerBI, Onestream)
- Software interfacing with ERPs and data mapping
- Communicating technical details to a non-technical audience
- Designing concise and effective reports
- Providing expert end-user support for intricate problems
- Creating comprehensive system user documentation
- Developing and leading engaging training sessions
- Evaluating and designing systems for business processes
