Description:
As part of our expanding team, Designwerk UK is looking for a confident Midweight Creative Artworker with a passion for branding, design and layout, who is keen to make an impact in a busy East London design studio. This role will support our creative team, applying design concepts across a wide range of formats across print, digital, large format and event.
Skills & Experience:
- Have 3+ years experience as a Midweight Creative Artworker
- Excellent command Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign
- Proficient in MS Office programs, especially Powerpoint
- Experience working in Figma is desirable
- Excellent understanding of print production processes, including colour management, typesetting, working at scale and printing across different materials, formats and finishes.
- Experience working to detailed media plans for digital and print campaigns
- Creating and modifying artwork files, including retouching as required, ensuring colour accuracy, resolution, and file formats across large and small scale outputs.
- Experienced in taking designs through to delivery ensuring the highest quality and standards at all times
- Demonstrable understanding of versioning and working with an existing design system to flex and stretch for different touchpoints
- Have a broad portfolio of work demonstrating creative application and implementation
- Be methodical and meticulous with a keen eye for detail and accuracy
- Self-motivated, proactive and organised
- Have the ability to work quickly under pressure and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Have excellent communication skills
- A team player and happy to contribute to the studio culture
Responsibilities:
- Be involved with creative production ensuring high quality standards in all production client deliverables and their relevant brand guidelines
- Artworking an array of print and digital media outputs
- Much of our current work requires a high level of knowledge in Illustrator. We will require logo and creative versioning and graphic language application to a multitude of different formats.
- Adapting visuals into a variety of sizes and formats
- Attends any client meetings (e.g. pre-production) as necessary
- Additional duties as assigned
- Creation of large format graphics and working to scale against detailed media and delivery plans
