What does a “day in the life” of my new team look like?

  • Learn about our clients’ employer needs, their candidates and market conditions to help craft a direction for brand messaging, recruitment marketing campaigns and digital platforms
  • Provide a wide range of ideas and options against creative brief as well as astutely present and defend those options both internally and to clients in presentations
  • Keenly listen to internal influencers such as strategists, clients and research cohorts to assimilate information to guide creative solutions
  • Be a key voice for our client brands through a wide variety of writing styles and media
  • Develop expertise and brand ownership for clients in areas of TOV, punctuation, style and other brand preferences and foster consistency across all projects and campaigns
  • Co-develop with art directors and designers unique, on-strategy conceptual directions for all types of projects
  • Be the passionate voice of the candidate, always ready to remind colleagues and clients who we are trying to reach and build rapport

What do I need to succeed in this role?

Must haves:

  • Copywriting experience at an agency (in house or independent) with a variety of clients, ideally within the employer branding/recruitment marketing arena
  • A strong portfolio showing copywriting for both branding and marketing/advertising
  • Strong experience writing for digital, including web platforms, banner ads, paid social campaigns
  • Experience writing for marketing content, including email campaigns, social and blog posts
  • Understanding of key social channels and their varied requirements and best practices
  • Develop treatments, script and lead storyboard development for video/animation/motion
  • Understanding of Microsoft Word and PowerPoint is essential
  • Confident collaborative working style due to a highly distributed team of colleagues; ability to reach across departmental borders and build working relationships
